You will be required to comply with this standard if you are a registered building practitioner or other person authorised to deal with domestic solid fuel burning appliances.
This standard specifies requirements for appliance and fuel installation for solid fuel burning appliances in dwellings. It also sets out alternative means of compliance via performance testing of a prototype installation or the use of prescriptive criteria (dimension, materials, etc) based on a worst case situation.
