Code of Practice: Lead - Victoria

You will be required to comply with this code if you work with lead or lead products. This applies to workplaces where lead processes are undertaken. Lead processes are activities that generate lead dust, mist or fumes. This code provides practical measures for the elimination or reduction of exposure to lead.

Meeting the requirements of a compliance code means that you have fulfilled your occupational health and safety duties and obligations in relation to the matters covered by the compliance code.

As this code is based on the 2007 regulations, it does not yet reflect the changes introduced by the new regulations. Complying with this code may not necessarily mean compliance with your duties and obligations.
