You may require this permit if you intend to use a parking bay or zoned area for extended periods for commercial or business-related reasons.

 

Commercial parking permits are available for businesses that require a parking area for activities such as works, deliveries, or promotions. Other temporary permits may be applicable, such as parking permits for medical personnel or tradespersons near work sites.

Eligibility requirements

You will need to provide evidence that your business is permanently located within the municipality. Tradesperson parking permits are available to residents who require access for a tradesperson to work at their property. Tradesperson parking permits are only granted for a maximum of 13 weeks with an extension option of 10 weeks.

Ongoing eligibility requirements

All tradespersons must be parked in proximity to the address in which they are working and must have a permit displayed on the passenger side of the dashboard of their vehicle at all times.
