You must comply with this code if you distribute electricity under an electricity industry licence. The terms and conditions that apply to the distribution of electricity to retail customers must be consistent with this code.
This code regulates the following processes:
- distribution of electricity by a distributor to its customers
- connecting a customer to an electricity distribution system
- connecting embedded generating units to an electricity distribution system
- transferring electricity between distribution systems.
