Full Club Licence - Victoria

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to supply alcohol to members at a large commercial club.

This licence allows:

  • members to drink at the venue or take away
  • guests of members, anyone attending a function or club event and authorised gaming visitors to drink at the venue only
  • BYO alcohol at your venue.

A full club licence suits:

  • gaming venues (for example, poker machine venues)
  • large racing venues (for example, Victorian Racing Club)
  • Australian Football League (AFL) team venues.
  • large commercial venues with a members lounge, bistro and some other facilities.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • consent to a national police check.

Before you apply, as the applicant you must complete or be enrolled in:

  • new entrant training
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training.

Apply at least 11 weeks before you need a licence.

Lodgement process

Apply

You no longer need to upload a council planning permit with your application. Instead, upload the LCV new licence or permit planning document when the application process asks for a planning permit. This is a temporary step while the Agency updates the application form. You can upload a planning permit instead, if you have one.
