Game Bird Farmer Licence - Victoria

You will need this licence to operate a game bird farm for the purpose of breeding and selling birds for hunting. A game bird farm is a hunting range or reserve where hunters may hunt non-native game birds that have been released on the property.

This applies to game bird farms where pheasants, partridges and European, Japanese or Californian quail are farmed for hunting. Native birds, including game ducks and stubble quail must not be hunted on a game bird farm.
