Game Meat Processing Facility Licences - VIC - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this approval / licence to harvest, transport, store, process and sell game meat for human consumption or pet food.

There are four types of approvals and licences:

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible for a Game Meat Field Harvester approval, you must have:

a Certificate of Attainment for Wild Animal Field Harvesting (or equivalent) from an approved Registered Training Organisation
evidence of shooting proficiency certification.
