You will need to comply with any conditions placed on your licence by the Agency, including the requirements to abide by all codes of practice and to report the numbers and condition of your herd and their sale movements.
Before 15 January each year you will need to submit a certificate to the Agency from a veterinary practitioner that provides information about the health of the animals for the previous calendar year.
For each sale of semen you must keep records containing the following details:
- the address of the buyer
- the address where the semen was collected
- the address where the semen was collected from the sire
- the identity of the sire
- batch number of semen
- whether the semen was frozen or chilled
- the date of sale
- where the semen had been stored.
