You will require this licence if you intend to hold a large-scale event that is likely to attract more than 5000 patrons and have a significant impact on:
- organisation of public transport and emergency services
- the public safety and the amenity of the area where the event is held.
A major event licence authorises you to supply liquor during the event.
All events that are likely to attract more than 5000 patrons will be taken to be a major event unless the Agency believes that the event will not have a significant impact on the matters listed above.
Liquor must not be supplied on ANZAC day between 3am and 12noon.
