You will be required to complete Movement Documentation such as a Livestock Production Assurance National Vendor Declaration (LPA NVD) when undertaking certain business activities to ensure the maintenance of biosecurity in all Australian jurisdictions. These activities include:
- transporting livestock between properties
- sale or buying of livestock
- abattoir activities
- weighing of livestock
- other similar activities.
These requirements must be met for:
- cattle
- pigs
- sheep
- calves.
