On-Premises Licence - Victoria

Description

You will require this licence if you operate a business or club that supplies alcohol for consumption on the premises.

An on-premises licence does not authorise you to supply alcohol for consumption off the premises (take away or retail sales).

This licence is appropriate for pubs and clubs, as well as other businesses that supply alcohol.

An on-premises licence authorises you to:

  • supply liquor between 11PM and 1AM on the following day if approved by the agency
  • if authorised by the agency, to supply liquor in an open container for consumption in a food court.

Licensees who wish to extend their hours past 1am may need to apply for a Late Night (On-Premises) Licence.

To apply, complete the Liquor Licence Application Kit On-premises Licence form.
