Permit to Conduct Trading in a Public Place - City of Whitehorse - Victoria

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to sell goods or services in a public place. Public places are:

  • roads
  • footpaths
  • any land that is owned, occupied, maintained, or managed by a local council.

A permit will be required where goods or services are sold or offered for sale from:

  • the person
  • vehicles, caravans or trailers
  • tables, stalls or booths
  • other similar points of sale.

This includes activities such as itinerant trading and conducting door-to-door sales.
