Permit to Conduct Trading in a Public Place - Glenelg Shire Council - Victoria

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to sell or offer to sell goods in a public place. Public places are:

  • roads
  • footpaths
  • any land that is owned, occupied, maintained, or managed by a local council.

This permit will be required where goods are sold or offered for sale from:

  • the person
  • vehicles
  • caravans
  • trailers
  • tables
  • stalls or booths
  • other similar points of sale.

You may also require this permit if you intend to conduct door-to-door sales.

Please note that this permit may also be required to sell to a person in a public place from premises that is adjacent to that public place.
