You will need this permit if you intend to sell goods or services in a public place. Public places are:
- roads
- footpaths
- any land that is owned, occupied, maintained, or managed by a local council.
A permit will be required where goods or services are sold or offered for sale from:
- the person
- vehicles, caravans or trailers
- tables, stalls or booths
- other similar points of sale.
This includes activities such as itinerant trading and conducting door-to-door sales.
