Permit to Keep General Livestock - Victoria

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to keep general livestock in non-rural areas (i.e. areas not specified by a planning scheme). You will need to contact the Council to ascertain which areas are covered by a planning scheme.

Some exemptions may apply, such as where you hold a planning permit that allows for the keeping of livestock. For the purposes of this permit general livestock includes, but is not limited to, animals such as horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, rabbits and ducks.
