Description

You might need a permit to burn any material or light a fire. This applies to burning in the open and burning material in an incinerator.

This permit may be required for burning on public and private land.

You may be required to apply directly to the Country Fire Authority (CFA).

Other restrictions may apply in periods of high fire danger depending on your council.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

The permit will be issued for a fourteen day period.
