You will require this permit if you intend to drive, wander or move animals along a road or through a public area, for the purpose of moving animals from one area to another.
The moving of animals can only be undertaken during daylight hours, and stock should not be led on a road at night except in the case of an emergency, or to lead the stock to or from a dairy.
Livestock includes but is not limited to, horses, cattle, swine, sheep, goats and deer.
