Permit to Place Signs - Bayside City Council - Victoria


You will require this licence if you intend to erect, place or remove an advertising sign or notice on a road or footpath. For example, approval is required for the placement of A-frame (sandwich board), temporary or movable signs. Signs also include banners or flag-like materials. You will also require this permit if you wish to erect, fix or place any advertisement for commercial, charitable, cultural or community purposes.

Approval may also required for the use of commercial signage mounted on vehicles and/or trailers.

It is recommended that you contact your local Council prior to erecting, placing or affixing any type of signage.
