Permit to Provide Liquor in Public Places - Greater Shepparton City Council - Victoria

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to control the consumption of liquor in a public place. This refers to control of the sale, possession and consumption of liquor in an unsealed container.

Places covered by this permit may vary and include all those owned, occupied, managed or cared for by your local council to which the public has access (regardless of whether there is an admittance fee, such as for a special public celebration, event or festival). This also includes within a motor vehicle that is within or on a public place.

Alcohol supply restrictions exist on ANZAC Day between 3am and 12pm.

Your council may stipulate certain areas and times for which this permit is required. You may also require liquor licensing at a State government level.
