Description

You will require this permit if you intend to take water from any council controlled standpipe, whether for private or commercial use or sale. A standpipe is a council owned and maintained outlet located in a public place to which the public has access to water. Allocation of water from a local council's resources is at their discretion, and may be regulated to a certain number of water cart suppliers at any one time.
