You may need this permit if you intend to use fireworks, firecrackers or any form of pyrotechnics at an event. Only a licenced pyrotechnician can discharge fireworks in Victoria and before they are used a number of authorities must be notified. The council may restrict the time and place where fireworks may be used.
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
To be eligible for this permit, you will need public liability insurance to the value determined by council.
