You may need this approval to operate a commercial fishing boat. Approval is required to carry a priority species on a boat within the Point Hicks Marine National Park.
As a condition of approval, you must notify the Agency prior to entering or leaving the park and provide details of the number of the Fishery Access Licence under which you have caught the priority species.
Priority species include Abalone, Rock lobster, Murray cod and Southern bluefin tuna.
Approval authorises you to travel through the Park by the shortest practical route and allows you to remain stationary in a specified part of the Park only.
