Poisons Code - Victoria

Description

You will need this code if you deal with scheduled poisons, including prescription medicines, pharmacy-only medicines, drugs of dependence, and many household, industrial and agricultural chemicals.

This code contains:

  • a list of poisons
  • relevant provisions concerning labelling, storing, packaging or advertising from the Commonwealth government standard
  • a list of substances not for general sale by retail
  • a list of exemptions from Schedule 1 of the Poisons List and Schedules 2 to 9 of the Commonwealth standard.
