You will need this licence if you intend to slaughter and process poultry for human consumption.

This licence allows you to operate the following if all the poultry meat and by-products come from your poultry processing facility:

  • further meat processing facility
  • retail butcher shop
  • prime tallow processing facility
  • inedible rendering facility.
