Approval time

To ensure that your registration is completed by the date when registration will become mandatory for your area of engineering, you should lodge your application fat least three months before that date.

Transfer

If you are already registered with the Victorian Building Authority as a building practitioner in the category of engineer, your registration will automatically be transferred.

Additional information

Interstate workers will need to notify the Agency before they can rely on Automatic Mutual Recognition to provide professional engineering services.
