You will require this registration if you are the owner of a boat and wish to use it for any of the following purposes:

  • taking of fish for sale
  • the setting or use of commercial fishing equipment
  • the setting or use of commercial abalone equipment to take abalone for sale
  • the landing of fish for sale or marketing
  • the moving of an aquaculture crop.
