You will need this registration if you intend to operate a caravan park. A caravan park is an area of land on which movable dwellings are situated for occupation on a short or long-term basis. 

Caravan parks are required to be registered and to maintain standards for a wide range of matters, including:

  • fire prevention and safety
  • emergency management plans
  • water supply and standard
  • sewage and waste water
  • laundry facilities
  • lighting
  • garbage bins
  • smoke alarms.
