There are prescribed requirements in relation to registered premises with respect to cleanliness, inspection of premises and generally safeguarding the health of persons likely to be using those premises.
Failure to comply with any of these requirements may result in the Agency or council refusing to grant or renew the registration of the premises, and the registration may be suspended or revoked.
Registration may be transferred to another person or premises. Planning approval to conduct the business may also be necessary in some circumstances.
