You will require this registration if you intend to provide independent oversight of buildings and building work throughout the construction process and upon completion of construction to ensure that buildings are safe for use, accessible and energy efficient.
There are two classes of building surveyor that you can apply to be registered in:
- unlimited: all classes of building, unlimited height and floor area
- limited: all classes of building up to three storeys in height with maximum floor area of 2000m2.
