You will require this registration if you intend to completely or partly dismantle buildings and other structures using pre-planned and controlled methods.
There are three classes of registration, which allow demolishers to dismantle buildings and other structures, and demolish and strip unoccupied buildings, as specified below:
- low rise: up to two storeys in height (other than special buildings)
- medium rise: up to five storeys in height (other than special buildings)
- unlimited: all buildings and structures, including special buildings.
