Additional licences, registrations or permits may be required depending on the nature of activities conducted in your business (for example, registration of food premises, planning permit, liquor licence).
Renewal applications must be lodged with the council on or before 15 November in each year. Registration may be transferred to another person or premises.
Significant ongoing requirements relating to the conditions and upkeep of the accommodation will apply. It is an offence not to register prescribed accommodation or to deny free access by an authorised officer to the premises.
New registrations must obtain town planning approval before any works are commenced and if more than five people are accommodated.
Applications for registration or renewal are to be directed to the health department of council.
