Registration to Act as a Professional Boxing and Combat Sports Contestant - Victoria

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to compete in a professional boxing or combat sports competition in Victoria.

The sports covered include combat sports that require opponents in a contest or exhibition to strike, kick, hit, grapple, throw or punch the other contestant. This includes jiu-jitsu, boxing and wrestling.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • provide a certificate of fitness form completed no earlier than fourteen days before your application is submitted.
  • provide a blood testing form completed no earlier than 6 months before your application is submitted.
  • provide a Statement of Recommendation from a licensed trainer or match maker.

If you hold an equivalent registration in another State or Territory and intend to compete in Victoria, your registration will be recognised under the mutual recognition system.
