Track Rider Accreditation - Victoria

Description

You will need this accreditation to ride trackwork in Victoria. The levels of accreditation are:

  • slow work
  • fast work
  • jump outs.

Higher level accreditation incorporates all lower level accreditation (i.e. jump outs is valid for all three).

The assessment will need a workplace assessment conducted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) assessor. This will include being observed riding work a number of times under specific conditions depending on your level of accreditation.

Completion of this course will provide formal recognition of your track riding skills, plus a licence to ride in Victoria.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this accreditation, you must:

  • provide evidence of previously completed training (minimum of BSBWHS201 and RGRPSH201)
  • be at least fourteen years of age
  • provide proof of identity
  • provide proof of age (if under 20)
  • obtain a USI number
  • pay the prescribed fees
