Victorian Pharmacy Authority Guidelines - Victoria

These guidelines apply to all registered pharmacists in public and private practice, and approved operators of pharmacy premises, depots and departments. They provide details of the operating and behavioural standards for registered health professionals in the field of pharmacy. They also contain details of current legislation affecting pharmacy practice, and procedures for the control and operation of a pharmacy business, as covered by the industry minimum standards of good practice.

When deciding applications for a pharmacy business or pharmacy department licence, the Agency will take into account applicants' compliance with these standards.

Please consult the responsible agency for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
