Game Bird Farmer Licence - Victoria

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to operate a game bird farm for the purpose of breeding and selling birds for hunting. A game bird farm is a hunting range or reserve where hunters may hunt non-indigenous game birds that have been released on the property.

This applies to game bird farms where pheasants, partridges and European, Japanese or Californian quail are farmed for hunting. Indigenous birds, including game ducks and stubble quail must not be hunted on a game bird farm.
