Approval for Septic Tank Pump Outs and Removal of Liquid Waste - Town of Cottesloe - Western Australia

Description

You will need this approval to collect, remove and dispose of the contents of a septic tank, holding tank or an apparatus for the treatment of sewage and other liquid waste. This approval will be granted if you hold a licence to transport septic waste (controlled waste carrier).

Approved activities must be undertaken according to any terms and conditions imposed by the council. These conditions could include the following:

  • time and method of collection, removal or disposal of contents
  • route that can be used to transport the contents
  • type of liquid waste that can be collected.

If you obtain this approval, you must provide regular reports to the council containing accurate information on the conduct of all approved activities.
