You will require this approval if you intend to construct or erect a stable for the keeping of a horse, cow or other large animal, such as a pig, sheep or goat. A stable is any building where these animals are kept, cared for and fed.

  • construction of stable must not be situated within 15 metres of a house or other premises
  • a separate stall measuring 6 square metres must be built for each horse or cow
  • stable must be maintained in a clean condition.
