Approval to Erect or Maintain an Awning, Balcony or Verandah over Local Government Property - Western Australia

Description

You will require this approval if you intend to construct and maintain a verandah, balcony or awning that extends over any part of a footpath, street, or other public place. Awnings, verandahs and balconies must comply with Council requirements, including minimum height above the pavement level. Restrictions may apply to the type of verandah, awning or balcony that can be constructed.

Approval may also be required to place or hang a blind or sunscreen on the side of a verandah.
