You will require this permit if you intend to operate an aquatic facility. This permit is available for four different classes of facilities. The four classes are:
- Class 1: Facilities available to the general public on the payment of an entry fee.
- Class 2: Schools, learn to swim centres, nursing homes, hospitals and hydrotherapy or physiotherapy use pools.
- Class 3: Discrete access facilities and commercial developments like hotels, resorts, mining camps health clubs and serviced apartments.
- Class 4: Small temporary accommodation developments (for example bed and breakfast or farm stay facilities) and residential or retirement developments with more than 30 units but no public access.
You do not require this permit if you are just an employee at an aquatic facility.
