AS / NZS 3004 Electrical Installations - Marinas and Recreational Boats - Western Australia


You may need to comply with this standard if you intend to design, construct and install electrical installations in marinas or electrical systems in recreational boats.

This standard covers the requirements for electrical installations associated with marinas supplied at low-voltage a.c. supply systems and the requirements for the design, construction and installation of electrical systems in boats that have a length of up to 50 m, and are designed for use on inland waters or at sea. The standard has two parts:

  • AS / NZS 3004.1:2014 Electrical installations - Marinas and recreational boats - Marinas
  • AS / NZS 3004.2:2014 Electrical installations - Marinas and recreational boats - Recreational boats installations.
