You may need to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a caravan park or camping ground.
This standard specifies requirements for the design and installation of sanitary plumbing and drainage from fixtures to a sewer, common effluent system or an on-site wastewater management system, as appropriate. It applies to new installations as well as alterations, additions or repairs to existing installations.
Note that this standard has been updated and you will need to meet the requirements set out in AS/NZS 3500.2:2021.
