Description

You may need to comply with this standard if you intend to manufacture, supply or operate a trailer used in a B-double, or a road train.

The performance of the service, secondary and parking brake systems of your trailers must comply with this standard. A semi-trailer is also required to have an anti-lock breaking system which complies with this standard. This standard specifies requirements for braking under both normal and emergency conditions.
