Australian Design Rule ADR 68 - Occupant Protection in Buses - Western Australia

Description

You may need to comply with this standard if you are involved in the design or manufacture of buses which have 2 or 3 axles and a single steer axle. For a bus equipped with an approved air suspension system to be declared a complying bus, it must meet the occupant protection specifications in this standard.

This standard specifies requirements for seatbelts, the strength of seats, seat-anchorages, seatbelt anchorages and child restraint anchorages. This standard also provides standards for protecting occupants from impact with seat backs and accessories on seats and armrests.
