AS / NZS 2299 Occupational Diving Operations - Western Australia

Description

You will need to comply with this standard if you are an employer or self-employed and intend to undertake construction diving work. Construction diving work is any construction work in which diving is carried out using either a surface supplied breathing apparatus (SSBA) or self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (SCUBA) and includes the work carried out by the people who give direct support to the diver.

This standard specifies requirements for the personnel, equipment and procedures that should be used in occupational underwater operations in up to 50 metres depth of water, where compressed breathing gas is supplied either through surface-supplied breathing apparatus or self-contained underwater breathing apparatus.
