Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 3000:2007 Electrical Installations - Western Australia


You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to install plant or undertake electrostatic spray painting at your workplace.

You must ensure that all electrical equipment used for electrostatic spray painting complies with this standard. You are also required to consider the requirements of this standard in order to reduce risks during the installation of electrical plant.

This standard sets out the minimum requirements for the design, construction and testing of electrical installations, including the selection and installation of electrical equipment forming part of such electrical installations.
