You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to install, repair, or operate electrical equipment on oil wharves, or within 15 metres of shore terminal valves in pipelines.

This standard sets out requirements for the design, construction and verification of electrical installations, including the selection and installation of electrical equipment. These requirements are intended to protect people and property from any electrical shock, fire or physical injury hazard.
