You may need to comply with this standard if you intend to carry out gasfitting work on consumer gas installations. Gas installations include any appliance, pipes, fittings or other apparatus installed or to be installed for or for purposes incidental to the conveyance, control, supply or use of gas.
This standard specifies requirements and means of compliance for the design, installation and commissioning of gas installations that are associated with use or intended use of fuel gases, such as natural gas, LP Gas, biogas or manufactured gas, and in caravans and boats for non-propulsive purposes.
