Description

You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a tow truck which has a crane fitted to it. The design, construction and marking of any crane fitted to your tow truck along with its attachments and supporting structure must comply with this standard.

These standards cover the design, manufacture, use or testing of different types of cranes, hoists, winches, and their components, associated equipment and appliances which are intended to carry out similar functions.
