Australian Standard AS 1744 - 1975 Forms of Letters and Numerals for Road Signs - Western Australia


You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a road train over 22m long. A road train is a line of linked trailers pulled by a truck.

You must display a road train or long vehicle warning sign which meets the requirements set out in this standard. This standard gives the forms and dimensions of a range of letters and numerals to be used on standard road signs.
