Australian Standard AS 1894 The Storage and Handling of Non-Flammable Cryogenic and Refrigerated Liquids - Western Australia


You may be required to comply with this standard if you intend to store and handle non-flammable cryogenic and refrigerated liquids.

This standard sets out requirements and recommendations for the storage and handling of non-flammable cryogenic liquids at temperatures below -90 degrees Celsius and refrigerated liquids at or below -15 degrees Celsius, of Class 2.2, in quantities of at least 50 litres water capacity and 50 kilopascals (gauge) working pressure, up to and including 200 000 litre water capacity. It also provides guidelines for temporary installations.
